Ferdinand Verbiest Institute Taipei (VI Taipei) is dedicated to serving and working with the Church in China as partners, promoting the development of the Church in China, by providing assistance in various aspects which include the pastoral formation as well as social development projects at the level of the local churches.
Although the main concern of Verbiest Institute Taipei is to care about the Church in China, we do not forget to also pay a special attention to the Church in Taiwan in terms of pastoral concerns. Since early years, Verbiest Institute had been continuing to sponsor the activities of Taiwan Pastoral Center.
Since 2011, owing to certain reasons, Taiwan Pastoral Center merged with Verbiest Institute and began to work together under the supervision of the board of Verbiest Foundation which is based in Leuven, Belgium.
